Range Rover Engine Upgrades
Land Rover vehicle engines are strong units, built to give many, many, years of faithful operation. However, for a lot of us 'standard' is not enough - we want more!
Here at Stag 4x4, we have all the Land Rover vehicle engines in stock. We can build 4.6 race engines or bigger if required. We have put a number of 3.9 & 4.6 engines in Defender off road trucks. Our previous Triumph TR8 Race Car had a 4.8 litre 400bhp Rover V8 based on a 4.6 Range Rover Engine. If you want a current list of standard available engines, look at the Now Wrecking page.

Upgrade the ECU controlling your engine - more power - less fuel

Like all Autologic software, the 'Power Upgrade' is simply installed using our Autologic unit. The benefits are evident: more power, more engine flexibility and increased fuel efficiency; an attractive combination.

Performance Tuning
Diagnos has developed 'tunes' for all diesel electronic control units, that are flash programmable. Every variant has been covered. therefore every vehicle can be tuned as soon as it arrives at the workshop. The only exception, are TD5 engines manufactured before 2002. The chip in these ECUs is not programmable. However, for these engines, we can replace the chip in the ECU. We require your ECU part number & will order the correct chip from Jeremy Fearn in the UK. Hi Morris
I just thought I'd let you know how the ECU Upgrade is going. I reckon power has increased by about 15% with acceleration much improved. As a bonus the diesel consumption has been reduced by about 10% on average. All in all I am very pleased. God knows why they don't sell them like that from new. |
